Party with the Girls....

Ok, so I tried to be a better Mom this year than I was last year...Jennifer got to invite some friends over for a birthday party! I've never seen anyone work so hard and plan every last detail of this party....all that for 3 girls! She even had a grid map of where all the furniture was located and where all the decorations were going. Ok, who in my family has the planning gene? What better way to reward her than to have a chocolate fountain. We saved it for a special occasion and what could be more special.. Here the girls were wearing their fashionable hefty bags since Jennifer read on the can of silly string that it might stain fabric :-) She also made her own invitations (but she mailed them all out and hasn't made one for our scrapbooks yet), planned her own games, made a menu and most importantly followed a budget...which turned out to be easier than we thought since we got all the leftover decorations from Vacation Bible School - our theme this year was Outrigger Island....it was a blast and since Jennifer was going with the beach theme it all worked out. God is so good! Ok, so I'll try to do better with posting but it's still so time consuming for me (I'm a rookie)....and I'll try to catch up on the summers events. Remember to pray for our troops and the people being affected by the hurricanes....even those in Haiti where our sponsor child, Fede is....No one ever plans on loosing all their belongings and/or sometimes their family members...
